Benthic Ecologist

Job Description: 

Cawthron Institute's Coastal and Freshwater Group is looking for a Benthic Ecologist with aquaculture experience to lead and contribute to aquaculture impact assessment and monitoring projects. The position will involve fieldwork, liaising directly with clients and funding agencies, delivering technical reports and research outputs.

You will be joining a vibrant, collaborative team that is highly engaged with the dynamic aquaculture sector. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a PhD with at least five years experience in science disciplines relevant to addressing coastal challenges. The successful applicant will also have a proven track record in securing funding and an established professional network.
