Salary etc: Specified Calling Level 2, $93,548 - $103,179 p.a. plus 9.5% Superannuation. Tenure: 36 months, Full-time.

Under general guidance, this position will design and undertake effective scientific research including the application of remote sensing and ground-based methodologies for the monitoring and restoration of degraded ecosystems with a focus on the Western Australian Rangeland Acacia woodlands and shrublands in the Midwest region.
The successful applicant will undertake scientific engagement, publish results of research and monitoring programs and facilitate links with other land managers to enhance ecological monitoring and restoration programs in the rangelands. The successful applicant will foster and work collaboratively with DCBA and CSIRO.
