Do you know someone who has made significant contributions to ecology?

Nominations are now open for the ESA Gold Medal, awarded to an ESA member who has made a substantial contribution to the study of ecology in Australia over the course of their career.

The Medal can also be awarded to ESA members who have made a significant contribution to the operations of the Society.

The Medal is not necessarily awarded each year but when a recipient worthy of the reward is identified - recent recipients include Chris Dickman, Steve Morton and Bill Holsworth.

You can see a full list of the past recipients on our website.
