The Office of the Supervising Scientist (OSS) within the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (Commonwealth) is looking for an Ecologist / Data Scientist.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly innovative team on mine site ecosystem restoration being undertaken in northern Australia. This is a key role in developing best practice ecosystem monitoring and assessment methods that are rigorous, safe and cost effective. You will be leading ecological surveys using various platforms and sensors within Kakadu National Park. The role is responsible for quantitative analyses, visualisation, and interpretation of ecological data, including those derived from drone surveys.
